Introduction
In a hectic, fast-paced world, where leisure time is hard to come by, healthy and fun activities should be intriguing and enjoyable. Because of this, Livermore Cyclery, owned by the Howard family, has been working for nearly 30 years to promote the world of cycling to the Tri-Valley area. Started in 1976 by Steve and his parents, Bob and Jackie, Livermore Cyclery has grown into a thriving, successful business in the ever-developing community of Livermore, California. Over the years, the shop has expanded, adding a second store in Dublin, and has maintained a high standard for employees, products, and services.
Service
With their reputation for quality workmanship, the Livermore Cyclery mechanics assemble well-crafted, reliable bicycles. Additionally, they assist customers in reviving their older, well-worn bikes into ridable condition.
Our frequent customers describe our shop mechanics as extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of bicycles, and with good reason. When a bike is taken in for repair, our customers are assured a price estimate and an explanation of any work necessary for the bicycle, as well as an approximate pick-up time and a courtesy call.
Sales
Striving to make your new bike purchase an enjoyable experience, our sales staff will fit you with a bike that will comfortably fill your needs. Once informed of the style of riding that the customer wishes to do (i.e. road, mountain, BMX), our staffers will assist you in finding the best possible option.
Our staff does not work on commission, so you won't feel any pressure to buy the most expensive bike in the store. We are more than happy to answer your questions, to fit your bike specifically to you, and even to find the best bike for your financial situation. Every bike sale is accompanied by a year-long 10% discount on parts and accessories (excluding labor, sale items, and additional bikes) and lifetime minor maintenance from our store.
Why Livermore Cyclery?
One of the questions often presented to us at Livermore Cyclery is, "Why should I buy a bike at a bike shop and not at a department store?" The answer is actually pretty simple. When you buy a less expensive bike, the components (i.e. shifters, brakes, wheels, etc.) are going to be of a lower quality level. Assembling a bike of lower quality is a challenge for even the best mechanic, so having to do it by yourself can be a nightmare. If you do find a bike already assembled, most have unfortunately been hastily assembled by untrained mechanics and are ripe with built-in problems. Our mechanics
are top-notch, thoroughly inspecting every nut and bolt of your new bicycle. From the box, to our floor, to the time it goes out our shop doors, we pay close attention to every single bike that we sell.
So, please feel free to stop by and indulge in the ultimate bicycle buying experience. Livermore Cyclery: For over thirty years, the Tri-Valley's one-stop bicycle shop.
